What would it cost to convert a window into an entrance door?
Its only a 24" by 36" window, so it would have to be widened as well as lengthened. This is on the east coast.
It's a stick-built home with vinyl siding.
The cost can vary greatly, depending on a lot of factors, (e.g. if the exterior of the home is brick, it is going to considerably more expensive than frame home). All that being said I would say be prepared to spend $750-1000 in labor, plus the cost of the door and other materials
