I bought a floating shelf at TJMaxx and it came w/o hardware. What kind do I need to hang the shelf.?

I've tried screws, nails, screws with dry wall anchors, and even picture hangers, but the shelf keeps leaning away from the wall and I am afraid to put anything on it.

Home Depot or Lowe's should be able to help.
