What is the value of poetry, even silly ones?

Mesa Azul
Yapooh was a Hopi boy,
lived out on the plane,
hunted for the rabbit Jack,
dance ‘ed for the rain,
Yapooh saw a shadow tall,
without a man to cast,
“Shadow needs a friend I think?”
was all Yapooh could ask,
Shadow laughed and sang a song,
Yapooh danced a dance,
together they became a pair,
the stander and his stance.

mr blue.. this write is far from being silly.
you can add to it .. makes beautiful bedtime story.
because for city children..in the planes resides glory.
it also speaks of my cousin imbibe [ im-bee-be]..
we don not call him by his name. instead.. we call him azul [a-zul].. means shadow.. and person unidentified.
azul is also color reference .. we call each other : hey azul [blue] instead of hey black.
azul also means naive..dumb..shallow.. superficial. imbibe goes hunting for the gnu when the hungry lions in hide.. he thinks he can make a pair with the shadow of injured lion.. that is why we call him azul.
you see mr. blue.. this long boring answer and we have not got to mesa .. and the shadow needs a friend.. yet.
some think puzzles are silly. me thinks life is grand puzzle.. no azul can arrange or rearrange its peaces. me gnu how to tell whether snake is poisonous.. because me learned how to wash my grandmother underwear without hurting the gnu furniture.
you see what your write did to me.. make me remember my cousin azul imbibe.. and feel home-sick. now that is one value of poetry.. mr. blue.ty.
