My cat keeps chewing on my cabinet doors. What can I put on them that won't hurt the wood?
As stated: my cat won't stop biting at the cabinet doors so he can open the,. after I put Soft Claws on him. Is there something I can put on the doors that won't harm or damage the wood that would taste nasty to him? And of course non-toxic.
Spray your doors with Bitter Apple spray. It shouldn't hurt the doors, but cats don't like the bitter taste. I've used it for cats ( sores, etc ), and birds ( feather plucking ), and it works.
My cats don't chew on the wood, but I had to put "child-proof" locks on the doors, so they couldn't get them open. I guess they hadn't figured out to chew on them.
