my persian is 10months old and was spayed 9days ago,she has gradually developed a hard lump,vet is not worried
it is similar to others description. Ping pong ball size, but not red or annoying her! Just me I am worried but vet says it seems ok?i was given antibiotics and anti inflam tabs,but I want to see the lump going down. Any suggestions or anyone else had the same problem? How long does it take to reduce in size?
This same thing happened to my cat when I got her fixed. I brought her to the vet twice and each time the vet said it was fine. It's a reaction to the stitches. It took about a week and a half to two weeks for it to leave and she's been fine ever since. (It's been nine month). So don't worry about it. The vet knows what he's talking about.
