headboard dilemma?
I am thinking about buying a bed on craigslist for my spare bedroom. The headboard is a semi circle wooden antique. It comes with a metal bedframe, and no footboard. My problem is this: I have a queensize mattress. THe owner is saying that the frame WILL expand to fit a queen mattress.... but how strange will a full size headboard look with a queen size bed? Is this common place? Or should i just keep looking? Its a good deal at $35 for the hwole thing.
I would suggest that you keep looking. $35 is a good deal but a full size head board will look funny on a queen bed.
