What is this gross little worm-like thing inside my antique desk?
I have a set of antique bedroom furniture, and recently, I have noticed these tiny, little specs of wood/dust ..under, around and inside the desk. As I was inspecting it last night, I noticed tiny holes in several areas of the desk, and to my disgust, a little worm-like thing came crawling up from one of these!!!!! I taped up all the holes I could find, just the thought of bugs in my room freaked me out! No other pieces have these holes, or dust/wood in and around them. What are these things??? Is there a way to get rid of them, or do I need to ditch the desk??? Please help!!!
sounds like the larvae from termites, I would go online and google pictures for a more definte diagnosis.
If it turns out to be termites contact a proffesional to get your cure.
